Roasted Asparagus

Feel like you don’t have time to add a fresh vegetable side to your weeknight dinner?  Try this!

All you need is:


-Olive oil
-Ruth Ann ‘ s Muskego Ave Chicken and Fish Seasoning from Penzeys

Turn your oven broiler onto low broil. Rinse the asparagus in cold water. Take one piece and break off the woody end. Lay the rest of the bunch on a cutting board and trim them all to this length.  Transfer all stalks to a tinfoil lined baking sheet and drizzle lightly with olive oil, and then sprinkle with seasoning. Place under the broiler for 8 minutes. When the timer goes off, pull out and test for doneness. If your asparagus is on the thick side, you may need a few more minutes. ..if it’s thinner, then 2-3 minutes less.

Serve hot or cold!
